China Hosts African Journalists

The Seminar for Omni-media journalists currently underway at Zhejiang Normal University brought together 30 journalists and media professionals from 10 African countries to explore China’s media landscape and its role in the global film industry.

The seminar, which commenced on October 31, aims to educate attendees on the burgeoning relationship between Chinese cinema and Tourism, focusing on fostering growth and development in the latter.

One of the key speakers at the event, Professor Jiajia Lu, addressed the significance of Media Image and Communications, offering invaluable expertise aimed at enhancing the media strategies of African countries.

“The consumption of Hollywood entertainment in China is enormous and rapidly growing. China is expected to be the largest consumer of entertainment world wide. The allure of Hollywood, with its global influence and glamour, has inspired numerous cities to establish themselves as major film hubs.

“Hengdian became a comprehensive filming hub, accommodating the shooting needs of almost all costume and modern drama,” said Professor Lu.

Hollywood China, an emerging and pioneering force in the world of new media creates engaging short videos on various platforms to educate and inspire. The initiative with African Journalists in Jinhua at Zhenjiang Normal University seeks to actively incorporate film and television resources, organizing a plethora of offline activities that leverage the allure of celebrity appearances and elaborate effects to captivate audiences.
