The Zimbabwe National Statistics Agency (Zimstat) has begun consolidating a database of businesses operational in the country ahead of the inaugural 2025 economic census.
Speaking at a sensitisation meeting held in Mashonaland West province yesterday, ZIMSTATS acting Director-General Fadzayi Ndlovu said that the economic census was a first of its kind and is neccessary for evidence based economic planning.
