Former Minister of Health and Child Care Henry Madzorera of the Citizens Coalition for Change has won resoundingly against his ZANU PF rival Dr Solomon Matsa in the just-ended August 23 elections.

Madzorera polled 1789 votes against Matsa’s 853 votes in Kwekwe city council’s ward 14.

Madzorera took to his social media platforms to relay his message of gratitude to the Kwekwe electorate for voting for him.

“A big thank you, Kwekwe Residents for your resounding and emphatic endorsement of me as your councillor.

“We could not have done it without you,” Madzorera said.

Madzorera called for the residents’ continued support.

“Now real work should start, and we must keep in touch. We need your instruction at every turn in order to meet your needs. God bless you indeed.

“Herewith the Ward 10 results summary for your councillor; Henry Madzorera CCC 1789
